This week, we have walked through fire. I don't want to go into detail, but we have had a pretty heavy load to carry this week.
I knew that there was nothing I could do or say to take this problem away, we just had to pray. So on my knees I went. God was the only one who could provide.
How many times have you sat, completely helpless, completely broken, completely and utterly emotionally spent? It's not a fun place to be. I was there.
I have been praying that God would really work on my heart, that he would mold me and make me into what he wants. Well......be careful what you pray for. :)
God is working. I can feel his hands molding and shaping me into what he wants be to me. It isn't an easy thing to go through. It's emotional....
I have never cried this much. I keep saying......
I'm not a crier!! Yet, there I sit, bawling like a baby. I guess I would rather be emotional and be in God's hands, then in charge of my emotions and walking alone. It's also humbling. To know that you have no answer to give, no end in sight. To know that you need help,
to know that you need.2 Corinthians 9:15~Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable giftLast night, we had a resolution to our problem. To those involved. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you. We were given
another UnSpEaKabLe GiFt.
1 Peter 5:7"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." 2 Cor, 6:10 ~ As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
I read this verse this morning. And although things seemed so dark, and so hard. I still have something to rejoice about. I have God on my side, and with him all things are possible. Even those things that we think that there is no hope in. Hard things happen in our lives to strengthen us, to grow us. I pray for a receptive heart, and a heart that will learn from it.
Last night at church, we sang the song
Does Jesus care. I lost it. All I could do was sit and let the words wash over my soul. Hunny saw that I was upset, and just sat there with his arm around me, comforting me.
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I've said "goodbye"
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Ephesians 3:20 ~ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
What an amazing verse. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Exceeding Abundantly above all that we can even THINK!!!
I hesitated to even post this. To be so open with this. But I decided to post this. Because this blog is for me. It's for me to look back on and remember my life. This is part of my life, and I want to remember what God has done for us. I want you to know that he loves you, and he wants only the best for you. And yes, he cares for you as well.
