Psalm 45:11
The King is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.
What a beautiful verse.

Bella the puppy who would never go away.
Hello, my name is Bella.

I am a Black Labrador Retriever.
I am almost 4 months old.
I am a puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like to jump on everyone who is around.
I LOVE to chew on my Mommmy's slippers. For some reason Mommy doesn't want me to do it and yells at me everytime she sees that I have them. So I have to be VERY sneaky and chew on them when she forgets to put them up.
I love to go on a walk. Mommy says that she doesn't like going with me on a walk though. She says that I am to hard to walk with. She says that I yank to much.
I especially like walking when Dada and Brother are riding their bikes. I like to try and chase them.
I LOVE Cupcake. She is the best sister in the whole world. I want to play with her all day long, and I would to, but sometimes she gets mad at me and snaps at me. I don't really mind her trying to bite me, but sometimes I get in the way of her teeth. Oh well, 1 day I will show her who is the REAL boss!
I can finally jump up on my Mommy and Daddy's bed. Although I haven't exactly figured out how I do it. So sometimes I can do it and sometimes I can't. When I can't I will just put my 2 front feet on the bed and bark at whoever is laying there. I especially like to do this at 6:30 in the morning when Daddy is trying to sleep. He likes to knock me down, and then I just jump right back up and keep on barking at him. Boy do I love that game.
I also like to play with Cupcake early in the morning. Although, I still don't know why she snarls at me.

I love to hide underneath the bed. But sometimes I get stuck. Mommy just calls me stupid and says....when are you going to realize that you are to big to fit underneath the bed??
1 of my favorite places to be is on Mommy's lap. But I still can't figure out why she never wants me up there. She just tells me that I am way to big. But I don't get that because Cupcake sits on Mommy's lap all the time. Doesn't Mommy know that I just want to snuggle with her??
Have I mentioned how much I like to chew?? Give me a bone, and I will just chew and chew and chew. I especially love little pieces of rawhide bones.
Besides Cupcake, I have another best friend. His name is Diesel. We played and played and played all day long. I was so worn out after being at his house. Mommy was mad at me that day also, she said that I shouldn't have went potty on Heather's carpet. But it wasn't MY fault that Mommy gave me so much water.
My mommy says that I am doing well being potty trained. I don't really know what she means by that. But she gets soooo happy when I ring that stupid bell hanging on the door and then go potty outside. She even gives me treats for doing it! I LOVE THOSE!!
I can sit, shake and lay down when Mommy and Daddy tell me to. They give me treats for doing that to!!!
I love my new family. Mommy SAYS that she wants to give me away. I have even heard her ask people if they want to take me home. But I know that all I have to do is look at her with my puppy dog eyes and I KNOW I melt her heart. I know that she would NEVER give me away.

High winds but calm hearts
Matthew 14:25-32~
During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."
"Come," he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"
And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
I have been humbled this morning.
I am doing a bible study which has wowed me over and over again.
But I was totally unprepared for what I was given this morning.
Words cannot express the depth of the comfort and HOPE that God has given me.
Yesterday was a rough day for me. Rough is sort of an understatement.
I saw no hope. I thought EVERYTHING around me was hopeless. I HATE being in that state of mind.
I tried all day to find God's presence and find his peace through this storm that we are going through.
I was amazed at how I DIDN'T feel God there.
I kept wondering what was wrong with me.
My faith shifted, and the longer I didn't feel God with me, the worse I FELT.
I wondered what was wrong with me.
Before bed, I buried myself in the word and eventually fell asleep listening to an MP3 by Sara Groves.
This morning I got up again to do my bible study and wondered if I would get something from it. I prayed that God would bind up Satan this morning so I could clearly hear what God was telling me.
Well.....he did.
This is the wonderful nugget I got. I want to shout it from the roof tops.
When did Christ die down the wind in this passage? Before or after he told his disciples not to be afraid??
After, right??
What is the basis of their courage since the storm continued to rage?
Christ is right?
The point is not that we have nothing to fear and that cowardice is simply an unreasonable state of mind. His presence is the basis for courage in our storms. Christ did not say, "Take courage! I am calming the storm. Don't be afraid." Instead, with the winds still raging, he said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid!" He does not always immediately calm the storm, but He is always willing to calm His child on the basis of his presence. " Don't worry! I'm right here! I know the winds are raging and the waves are high, but I am God over both. If I let them continue to swell, it's because I want you to see Me walk on the water. This set of prints can be seen only in a storm. I'm in this with you, and I love you more then you'll ever know" We'll probably never learn to enjoy our storms, but we can learn to enjoy God's presence in the storm.
~Taken from Breaking Free by Beth Moore .
I feel like I have nothing left now but to see Christ walk on the water.
We need a miracle. And only God is able to perform that miracle.
He has shown me his presence and his peace this morning.
I am so grateful for that.
I am humbled that Christ chose me to get to see him walk on the water. We are out of our boat now, the winds are still raging and raging high.
Christ hasn't calmed our winds yet. But he was calmed me.
I pray that all of you can experiance God's peace in the storm you are facing.

My Little Orphan
A couple weeks ago Dada went to a play with 1 of her friends from school. The play was put on through a children's theater group.
She was leafing through the playbill and saw a page talking about upcoming auditions.
When she came home, the 1st thing she asked me was to try out for the play.
She was so super excited about it that I had to stop and listen to what she was asking me.
I thought it sounded like a good idea.
So last weekend was the audition.

There was a work shop from 9-12. It went over what was expected of them during practices and such, and then they split into 3 different classes. 1 was song, 1 was acting and 1 was dance.
I am the type of person who likes to walk into a room and kinda know what is expected of me. I like to know what I have to do, and where I am going to go from there.
Dada and I had no idea what to expect that day.
You could tell that she was nervous.
We walked into this room with 120 other little kids. Mainly girls with only a handful of boys ( which Brother thought was weird.)
She. Knew. No. ONE.
Her 1st class was the acting class.
The director called for volunteers and she very shyly and meekly raised her hand. The other kids were standing and screaming to be picked.
He didn't see her.
By the end of the class when almost everyone had a chance to read she was in tears.
She was in tears, not b/c she didn't get picked, but b/c she just didn't quite know what to do or what was expected of her. All the other kids were jumping and shouting and talking to there friends, and she was alone.
The next class was the music class.
They didn't really go over the music for the play, but the music director went over music exercises, which most of the other kids already knew. Here she sat TRYING to do the exercises and listening and watching the director, but the other kids were laughing and giggling and having fun with it. So again, she felt like sort of an outcast.
To top it all off, b/c her emotions were all over the place that made her sugar unsteady.
She was in tears again.
I finally was able to raise her blood sugar and that perked her right up.
She was finally able to "relax" and start enjoying herself.
Finally it was dance class. I think she was WAITING for dance class. Now that her sugar was up, she was my happy little bubbly girl once again.

She ENJOYED the class. Her eyes her alight with joy the whole time she was in there. (It probably didn't hurt that the teacher was an older teenage girl, who KNEW how to dance. The other director's were older men.)
I tell you what......I have NEVER been more proud of my daughter.
She did something that most grown-ups can't or WON'T do.
She walked into a room where she knew know one. She didn't know what to do or where to go.
She kept her cool, she did as she was told.
She walked with her head held high and did beautifully.
Even through her tears she was brave.

God has made her brave and strong for a reason. She has had to deal with a lot in her life. I am thankful that I have a strong little girl.
I would so much rather have a strong little girl who can handle the things life throws at her then a weak little mouse who can't handle even the smallest waves in the storms of life.
I am proud of MY DAUGHTER.
I am glad that God gave her to me. I pray that he gives me the wisdom that I need to raise her into a vibrant, strong, happy and kind young woman who loves the Lord and seeks to do his will.

We find out on Sat. at her next practice what part she got in the play.
I have talked to her about being happy about whatever part she gets. That there are lots of kids who have been doing this for a while now and that they might get the parts that THEY want, but that the goal of doing this is to just have FUN!!

A gift for ME!!!!
During the night Saturday night, Dada woke up literally screaming in pain b/c her ear was hurting her.
I didn't know that she could scream like that!! :0
So I stayed home with her on Sunday.
I took her to the clinic and you guessed it.....she has an ear infection.
Oh.....and they gave her a nebulizer treatment, b/c she was wheezing.
It didn't help.
So they tested her for pneumonia. Which thankfully she doesn't have.
But they sent her home with antibiotics and an inhaler.
Thankfully she is doing better today and was able to go to school.
Anyway.......yesterday, Hunny came home from church with this beautifully wrapped present......FOR ME!!!!

I chose not to participate in the secret sister program at church this year, and so what a great little surprise to get a present at church!!
What absolute delight I took in that gift.

I LOVED the little poem that was in the pocket of the paper apron.
AdoRabLe!!
The best part was the apron that was wrapped up.
My sister Joanna started my apron collection for me at Christmas time.
What a beautiful addition to my collection!!

ThAnK YoU TamMy!!

Banana Split Brownie Pizza
A couple days ago, Hunny and I were watching 1 of my favorite shows.....Paula Deen.
I was more watching it, Hunny was there b/c he was bored!! :)
Paula's show was all about Banana's.
She made this recipe and Hunny and I both were drooling by the time it was over!!
So we got the stuff for it and I fully intended to make it.....sometime.
But Hunny beat me to it.
At work the next day, I received a picture message on my phone of the finished product.

I could barely make it home! I was so excited to try it.
Hunny even waited till I got home to cut into it!
I don't think I could have waited that long!!

All I can say is that this Banana Split Brownie "pizza" is DELICIOUS!!!!
