What have we been up to you ask??

Right now, Emma is sitting in her high chair feeding Bella. She is playing the game of I eat 1 cheerio and Bella can have 2 Cheerios. Bella LOVES this game. Emma thinks its pretty fun as well.

well.... we have been to volleyball games.......

and learning new tricks, like getting in the cupboards. She likes the one across from her better. It of course has the glass bowls in it.

We have been to slumber parties and a fun fair at church.....and this is what those 2 combined in 12 hours will do to a 10 yr old boy.

We have been to more volleyball games.

We have had a little break in Mommy's work schedule which has meant fun afternoons of nap time play time with Emma. We spent the afternoon 1 rainy day on the floor. Emma thought it was pretty fun.....and I did to. Emma uses us now as a jungle gym and thinks she is hot stuff.

And of course, wherever we are......so is Bella......at 1 point in the afternoon she was trying to lay right on top of me!!

Proof you ask??

Emma thinks Bella is pretty cool. And that is probably why Bella hangs around her so much.

We have been to more volleyball games.

This day was a tournament. Long day. Emma only crashed once.

She kept herself entertained the rest of the day.

                                                        **Daddy......L.o.V.e**

And the best news of all.....the girls finally won a game!!!

Well Bella is Emma is out of Cheerios, and I might have just gotten drunk off of clean baby smell.

.......sigh......

I best be off to get ready for work.

today, keep God's presence exalted....... don't become complacent or live in fear. trust.

 God is enough.

My oh my....

Nuf said.

On a lighter note, for those of you who were worried, and I know there was at least 1 person worried......It looks like Cupcake is going to pull through.....

For those of you you either don't care or didn't know, Cupcake had some sort of infection/bug bite on her neck and wasn't quite herself for about a week. I really thought she was going to die. But between all the drugs....I mean homeopathics that Tancy gave me, I think she will truly be ok. She is much more clingy little self, which suits me just fine.

Bella the puppy who would never go away.

Hello, my name is Bella.

I am a Black Labrador Retriever.

I am almost 4 months old.

I am a puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to jump on everyone who is around.

I LOVE to chew on my Mommmy's slippers. For some reason Mommy doesn't want me to do it and yells at me everytime she sees that I have them. So I have to be VERY sneaky and chew on them when she forgets to put them up.

I love to go on a walk. Mommy says that she doesn't like going with me on a walk though. She says that I am to hard to walk with. She says that I yank to much.

I especially like walking when Dada and Brother are riding their bikes. I like to try and chase them.

I LOVE Cupcake. She is the best sister in the whole world. I want to play with her all day long, and I would to, but sometimes she gets mad at me and snaps at me. I don't really mind her trying to bite me, but sometimes I get in the way of her teeth. Oh well, 1 day I will show her who is the REAL boss!

I can finally jump up on my Mommy and Daddy's bed. Although I haven't exactly figured out how I do it. So sometimes I can do it and sometimes I can't. When I can't I will just put my 2 front feet on the bed and bark at whoever is laying there. I especially like to do this at 6:30 in the morning when Daddy is trying to sleep. He likes to knock me down, and then I just jump right back up and keep on barking at him. Boy do I love that game.

I also like to play with Cupcake early in the morning. Although, I still don't know why she snarls at me.

I love to hide underneath the bed. But sometimes I get stuck. Mommy just calls me stupid and says....when are you going to realize that you are to big to fit underneath the bed??

1 of my favorite places to be is on Mommy's lap. But I still can't figure out why she never wants me up there. She just tells me that I am way to big. But I don't get that because Cupcake sits on Mommy's lap all the time. Doesn't Mommy know that I just want to snuggle with her??

Have I mentioned how much I like to chew?? Give me a bone, and I will just chew and chew and chew. I especially love little pieces of rawhide bones.

Besides Cupcake, I have another best friend. His name is Diesel. We played and played and played all day long. I was so worn out after being at his house. Mommy was mad at me that day also, she said that I shouldn't have went potty on Heather's carpet. But it wasn't MY fault that Mommy gave me so much water.

My mommy says that I am doing well being potty trained. I don't really know what she means by that. But she gets soooo happy when I ring that stupid bell hanging on the door and then go potty outside. She even gives me treats for doing it! I LOVE THOSE!!

I can sit, shake and lay down when Mommy and Daddy tell me to. They give me treats for doing that to!!!

I love my new family. Mommy SAYS that she wants to give me away. I have even heard her ask people if they want to take me home. But I know that all I have to do is look at her with my puppy dog eyes and I KNOW I melt her heart. I know that she would NEVER give me away.

Today is a tough day.

My little Cupcake is sick. She has a bladder stone, not a kidney stone like I was saying before. She has been peeing blood for a week now.

She is in pain, but she has been a trooper. She has still been kind and loving toward us, and even tolerant of Bella, who just wants to play with her.

She is a great dog. She is sweet, although a little shy and nervous.

She just wants to be cuddled with.

She may be just a dog to you, but to me, she is my baby.

She is my 3rd child that I will never have.

I never understood the connection between a dog and a human until I had 1.

I never understood doing what you have to do to help them get better.

I realize that their is a point when you have to let them go, but I don't feel we are there yet.

We have had to make a tough decision. I hope we are making the right 1.

We are walking out on faith. Not knowing where it will come from.

Meet Bella

We are pleased to announce a new addition to our family.

This little puppy totally fell into our laps last night. We have been TALKING about a bigger dog, something that was more of a watch dog, but still a family dog.

So in the meantime, I prayed about a dog, and left it in the Lord's hands. He knew if we needed another one and I new he would provide the perfect 1 for our family if we were meant to have one.

The neighbors dog, unbeknownst to us had 10 puppy's in November and last night we saw them for the 1st time.

After school the kids and I walked over to look at them while the neighbor was outside, and he practically gave her to us. I think he could see the longing in Dada's eyes.

So anyway.........

She is a Labrador Retriever.

She is beautiful!

She follows Dada around wherever she goes.

She is very much a puppy.

Hunny and I were up with her almost every 2 hours last night.

By 4 AM, I would have gladly given her back!! :)

I am to old for this. ;)

I think Daddy is smitten.

All I have to say is ....it's a good thing she is CuTe!!!!

Cupcake doesn't quite know what to think.

Her motto is..........run away whenever Bella comes near her.

And if Bella wants to play, she growls.

Cupcakes was LoNg overdue for a haircut. She looks SO much better now.

Can you tell a difference??

Cupcake and Bella are exactly the same size.

Bella is going to be BiG!!!

Man's best friend

Isaiah 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Dave came over Friday afternoon for a little visit. He brought along Sydney and their 2 new little puppies. The puppies are very cute.

I think it is so important to teach our kids to be kind and compassionate to animals. I hadn't been an animal lover until we got our dog Cupcake. She has been so good for our family. We have really tried to teach the kids that they have to be gentle with her and then Cupcake will be gentle with them.
