A trip to the Dentist and a night of Bowling.

We went to the dentist yesterday. What a trip that was!! I had to take both kids at the same time!! They actually did really well though!! Brother had to get 2 fillings and Dada I think had to get 1. I wasn't to sure of the dentist to be honest with you. He didn't keep me well informed of what he was doing. He just did it and wasn't really kind about it if you ask me. Dada has lost another tooth. Actually the dentist pulled it out, she didn't really lose it. I don't really understand why he pulled it and didn't let it fall out. But regardless it's out and she was happy about it! And the dentist app is over for now. Next time it should just be a cleaning.


Last night for family fun night we took the kids bowling. They totally loved it!! Brother said that that was the best night EVER!! Hunny and I had a contest to see who did better. I of course won. :)

I just have to brag!

We have been so very very busy here since school has started. Between school and volleyball practice and games, I am barely finding time to keep up things. But the other night I had a game, and I finally got home around 6:15. It was 1 of those nights I just wanted to run threw the drive through somewhere just to get dinner over with! But I had tacos planned for dinner that night. So I went home to make tacos. But when I walked into the house and Hunny had dinner on the table!! He had gotten home early and decided to get dinner started for me. When I walked into the kitchen I started crying b/c I was SO happy! He even cleaned up the kitchen for me that night also!

Happy 6th Birthday!!

Well we had Brother's bday party last night. My parents and Mike and Joanna weren't able to come so there weren't as many people here. But I think he still had a great party.

He was so excited about opening his presents!!He thought all he got was clothes.......but!!!!
He was so excited to see that we got him a new bike!! The 1st thing he said was he told Daddy that he had to take the training wheels off! He can't wait to get outside and ride it!! Sadly it has been raining all night last night and will be raining all day today. He is trying to ride it around the house!
Then it was cake time! He had to make sure that he blew out the candles and then he even had to take the candles out of the cake.
Michaela is getting so big!! She is 10 now.

Birthday's and school pictures

Brother's birthday was this week. He is 6 years old!! I can't believe it. We had cupcakes after his bath.....so that's why ha doesn't have a shirt on. He wants to sleep like Daddy ;) so he sleeps without a shirt on! His birthday party will be Sat night. He keeps asking me how many more days.


Dada's class had picture day today. I took some pictures of her class while they were waiting for everyone to get done. Once I pulled the camera out they were all ham balls!!
I didn't realize it but her and Elisa wore the same outfit! They looked so cute today!


Elisha wanted a picture of all the cousins. But he didn't want the girls to touch him. But Dada didn't really care. She did it anyway!!

Our days are getting busier and busier. So far I have been able to stay on top of things.......for now :) Anyway. We had Jared and Melissa over for dinner on Sat night. We had a great time. Jared taught us how to play rummy. ( I don't know how to spell it) I have to say that I placed 2nd. I was pretty proud of myself.
Granpa H brought Dada's belated Birthday present over.(He was waiting for it to come in.)When we got the piano, it didn't have a bench to go with it, so 1 of Dada's requests for a present has been to get a bench. Granpa came through!! You should have seen her face. It was pure pleasure!
1 last thing.....I have a new obsession. I decided that I wanted to try coffee. So I bought a coffee pot, and some coffee, and Sat night I made a pot and tried it many different ways. Hunny even got into it. We both have decided that we like it best with cream and sugar. I am totally addicted!

A surprise bday party!

A couple weeks ago Tancy and I planned a surprise 60 th bday party for Al and DeWayne. We had a lot of fun planning it and the party was a great success. I think they really enjoyed seeing long time friends. It was a really great party!
The kids were so excited for this party! We had them help us by directing traffic!

Brother has informed me that he hates having his picture taken. I told him to get over it!! :)

DeWayne was VERY surprised that there was a party going on!!

As was Albert. Esther had to be very sneaky about getting Al out of the house for a couple hours that day!!

Blake and Brother. Good grief trying to get these boys to take a picture was like trying to catch the wind! This is the best one that I got! They will be in the same grade this year.

Brothers 1st day of kindergarten

Today is Brothers's 1st day of kindergarten. He wasn't very excited about it and even shed some tears as he was heading into class. But he was brave and went and sat at his seat. I was very proud of him. I know that he will have a great year. He has a great teacher!



Nathan's good friend. We have been able to meet them a couple times at the park by our house this summer. They were very excited to see each other!

We also have very big news to report! Dada finally lost her 1st tooth! She has been very excited about loosing a tooth for about 2 years now. It was ready to come out for about 4 days, but she wouldn't let us pull it. We (and when I say we.....I really mean Hunny)finally pulled it Sunday before we went to church. She was very proud of her tooth and took it to church to show everybody!!
