I found another verse in the bible reading time this morning.
Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Mat 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

a grain of mustard seed.......
Hubby got laid off 2 weeks ago. The housing market is extremely slow as most of us know, and so of course there aren't many new houses being built. So he got laid off. He went to sign the books down at the union, and there are about 150 guys already laid off and ahead of him. So unfortunately he will probably be out of work for a while. So if anyone needs a plumber......you know where to call! :) I am not worried though. The Lord has always taken care of us, and I know that now will not be any different.
Dada's diabetes is driving me nuts. Her sugars have been all over the place so we have been dealing with a very whiny girl. Which I think it's her whining that is driving me nuts, not really her diabetes. The whining has gotten way out of control!! She whines ALL the time. When she is high, when she is low, when she is tired, when she isn't. She just whines.
She has also started trying to use her diabetes to get out of class. She will come to me 2 and 3 times a day. That just has to stop!
In my devotions, I have been reading in Matthew. And it seems like every day I am reading about how Jesus did miracle after miracle after miracle for all kinds of people. He made the blind man see, he made the lame to walk, he healed the lady with the blood disorder. Just miracle after miracle. And so I think, if God can do this for these people then why can't he heal my little
girl. The bible says that we just need a little faith, then he will do it.
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
I know that God can heal Dada. But I think that my unbelief lies in the fact that God will do it. I think the devil is trying to make me believe that I'm not worthy of a miracle like that. So I keep going back to what the bible says....
Matthew 9:28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 9:30a And their eyes were opened;
......it said according to your faith be it unto you. Well I WANT that kind of faith. The other thing with this verse that struck me was all Jesus did was touch their eyes, and their eyes were opened. My God only has to touch her pancreas and she will be healed!
I am praying that the Lord will take the diabetes away from her. I know that people may think that I am nuts. I can hear the doubt and disbelief that I would pray for that. I can hear people saying that this is an incurable disease, and I shouldn't pray something that in all likelihood will never happen. I have been guilty of thinking these very things. But God has been speaking to me with these verses. And I know that........
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
So this is what I am leaning on. I am praying that sometime, either (preferably)very soon, or within her lifetime that God will take this from her.

Pastor's Business Card
I got this in an email. I thought it was really cute!!
Pastor's Business Card
A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote"Revelation 3:20" on theback of it and stuck it in the door. When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10."Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."Remember when the funniest jokes were the clean ones?

An empty nest
So most of you know that we had a house guest for the past couple months. She is no longer living here. She moved out this past weekend. We have the kids rooms back in order. Dada is back in her room, and brother has his own room back. I spent most of Sat. cleaning out their closets and dresser drawers. (That was a job!!) It feels so good to have them back in their own places. Both of their rooms look so nice and clean. We even started an allowance for them. They get a quarter every day they keep their room clean.
Ever since Ashley moved out, I have noticed an emptyness in our house. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is that is missing. She wasn't part of our family, and she wasn't really here that much to make a huge difference. But it does feel a little emptier. I was talking to DH about it and I told him that it was about time we thought about another baby.
There are so many times that I really think that I would love to have another baby. I would love to be pregnant, I would love to nurse a baby again, I would love to sit and rock MY baby. There are just so many things that I would love about having a baby. I would love to see how my kids responded to me being pregnant and having a baby. I am sure that they would both adore it!!
But in thinking about it, I don't see how we can fathom it. I HAVE to work. I have to be at school to take care of Dada. I have to work at school to pay the kids tuition. I just don't see how having a baby would fit into that. I would really want to stay home with the baby like I did with the other kids.
And the other thing about having a baby is that as much as we fight it, babies grow up. Babies turn into toddlers, toddlers turn into kids, kids turn into teenagers.
Teenagers. Wow!! I have always told my friends that teenagers don't scare me. I told them that I couldn't wait till my kids got to be that old. But I think that I am changing my mind on that point of view. I have been able to see a lot of stuff this past year. Working with the volleyball and cheerleading was opened my eyes to a lot of things that happen. And quite frankly, I am more scared then ever before. I think that if I can keep the 2 kids that I have on the right track then I am doing good. But to be responsible for more. I just don't know.
Sometimes, I think that God gave me my kids when I was young and niave. When I didn't know what I was getting into, cuz if I knew what I was getting into I might not of had any. There is so much responsability in them. Having a baby is more then being pregnant, and cribs, and strollers, and diapers, and cute little clothes. It is so much more. Especially if you want them to turn out half way decent. I think that this is the reason that scares me so much from the idea of having a baby.
I don't know, maybe I'm not making any sense to anybody but myself. But I just wanted to write what was in my heart, even if no one understands.

Spring
I love the winter time. I love the snow, I love the cold, I love being couped up in the house for long periods of time. I love it getting darker earlier. I love lighting candles, and having my house be so cozy and warm. I LOVE winter!!
This year we have had an incredible winter. We have had so much snow. I have truly enjoyed this winter! BUT......with all that being said, I realized that spring is coming. I can feel spring right around the corner. Even though the temperature is still in the single digits. I have noticed that it is staying lighter just a little bit longer. I am getting excited about spring. I can almost feel the warm sun on my skin. I can see the flowers blooming and the birds chirping. I can feel the breeze blowing through the house. I think I can say for sure that I have spring fever. Now, I just pray for patience to get through the rest of winter.

God's protection
So last Friday night, my Hubby and I went over to our dear friends house for a great night of fondue and fun. We had my sister and her friend come over to watch our kids and our friends kids. (there were 9 kids here total !) We got home, the house was still standing, the kids were alive, and the toys were put away. I was happy.
Well Sat night, it was incredibly cold, I think the temp itself was in the negatives. The wind chill was -30 or something like that. We went to bed, thankful for our warm house.
About 1 o'clock, I woke from a dead sleep, not knowing what I heard, but knew I heard something and was sure that someone was breaking in our house, and stealing my kids. (Tancy, how do you like that run on sentance??) I woke up hubby, and told him to go check on the kids, he did, and I could hear him mumbling sweet nothings about his darling wife all the way to the kids room. He of course came back with I was hearing nothing and an "order" to go back to sleep. I of course laid there wondering what it was I had heard. And then I heard it again, and so did he! I wasn't crazy! It was a pop, something I had never heard before, we had no idea what it was! But I didn't hear it again, and so I slowly drifted off to sleep.
Until about an hour later, I hear this little pop again. But hubby doesn't seem worried, so I go back to sleep.
About 5, I woke up to hubby getting up and walking around the house. We continue to hear this pop but we have no idea what is was. Hubby checked all the doors, the windows, the basement. Nothing, we go back to bed, wondering what it was.
We went to church wondering what the noise could of been. Hubby, decided that he thought maybe it was the bricks on our house cracking our something. We chalked it up to that.
Well, last night, hubby went to turn on the oven to make a pizza, and he noticed that the oven was on. It was set to 400. And we realized that the oven had been on since Friday night. And that the popping noise had to have been the oven Sat night.
So the point of this long drawnout story, is that I am so thankful for God's protection. We could have had a fire that night. I am humbled at his protection.

I am sorry for the disappereance of me lately!! Honestly I have not been in the mood to blog. When I do actually have a moment to myself, the last thing I want to do is blog. Usually I just want to sit and not do anything, not think, not talk, just zone out.
Christmas was good. New years was good. ( I know that tells you a whole lot!! ) Hunny got in an accident and totalled the car the day after Christmas. So that has been kinda stressful. We are still going with just 1 car, so I have to find a way to and from school. So far things have worked out. Pray that we can eventually get our car payed off and get a new vehicle.
That's about it for now, I will try and do better with my blogging, hope everyone is doing well.
