A good day

So this morning when I woke up, I really did not want to get up and get going. It took all that I had to get up start my day. And really the only thing that got me going was that I didn't want to be like my mother. My mother would have stayed in bed and called in sick to work. So I went. And it has turned out to be actually a good day. I went to work, and then as I was picking up my son from the sitters, and I sat down, and 1 thing led to the other and here it is 5 o'clock and I am still here. Hubby had to come over and fix their faucet, and here I sit. No laundry done, no dishes done, no vacuuming done. But I have had a good day. I have laughed, and just had a nice time visiting w/ my friend. We have definitely gotten things accomplished though. I will have a busy night tonight working at home.
