Some sad news.

Hello all!! Sorry for my absence. We have turned our internet off to save some money so I will not be posting all that often anymore. :( I will try and get on and post as often as I can.....or as often as I can beg Tancy to let me use her computer!!

Summer fun

This week has FLOWN by! We have spent our days swimming and our nights at VBS. Needless to say, we are exhausted. I feel so bad for Hunny, since he has to get up so early for work and we are out so late for VBS. I have told him that he should stay home and get caught up on his rest, but he truly wants to go to VBS. I only pray that God keeps him awake and alert when he is driving to work and back.

Yesterday we spent the day swimming at Esther's. I had such a great day. Beth came down and my friend Sherrie came with us also. It was so nice to have her there. Tancy was there also, but after working like a dog she finally just couldn't go anymore and fell asleep on the couch. I did take a picture of her, but out of fear of death I will refrain from posting it. But here are some other pictures you can enjoy. :)

Dada and Mykayla were playing mom and baby. Mykayla was being the baby here. Dada was trying to carry her around the pool.

For some reason I love these pictures of the kids in the goggles. Here is Zach hanging out with the moms for a minute.

Dada and Austin have decided that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. I have very mixed emotions about that. While I think that it is very innocent and funny, yesterday they were acting just a little to old. They weren't doing anything really inappropriate, but there play was just a little to real. I think I am having a hard time explaining what I mean. Maybe it's just that I am scared of what is coming.

I have wanted to get a picture of all the kids at the pool. I bribed them with popsicles to get this picture!

My dear friend Sherrie. I have known her probably 8 years now. We don't get a chance to see each other all that much these days. But when we do, it's like no time has passed and we can just talk for ever. After my kids were born, she was really there for me. She would let me come over and just hang out at her house. And we would just talk and laugh and cry. She always made me feel welcome and wanted, and I thank her for that.

And my favorite picture of the day. #1 was quite the pistol yesterday. He just did what he could to egg people on. And this just caught him in the act! :) As I was taking this picture, he jumped on the girls and took them under with him!!

Mini putting

Saturday night we had an adult activity with our church group. I have been looking forward to this all week. I had been looking forward to getting out with Hubby and having some adult fun!!! We had quite the group that showed up also!! There were 15 couples that showed up. We were split up into 4 different groups.
The "old" men's group

The "old" women's group

The "young" men's group

The "young" women's group

I just want it known that the "older" adults named the groups. I did not. :)

Hunny was supposed to be practicing his putting.....but him and David decided to play HOCKEY instead!!

I also want it know what the "young" men's group did to us "young" women. They put dirt, rocks, tree branches in our holes. They thought they were very very funny!!

Dave, Brenda and Sydney

Hunny pretending he is going to run me over! :)

After we went mini putting, we went go carting. I haven't been go carting in YEARS!! It was so much fun!!!

We had such a nice night. It was so nice to have no kids and just be with a bunch of adults......even if we did act like kids. Sometimes, I think you just need to let your hair down and have a good time.

More swimming pictures

So we went swimming again on Friday. It was quite the exciting day b/c Logan actually got IN the water!!!! He loved this floaty. It shot water out of the top and he thought that was awesome!

#2 getting ready to jump in

#3......notice the life jacket and 2 floaties.

Dada......just tanning! And just so you know.....she learned what tanning is from her GRANDMA.....NOT me!

Victoria
Elisa was able to join us for the day.

We went swimming at Tancy's neighbor's house. Her neighbor had set up this waterslide. The kids LOVED it.
Notice #1's abs!!!

Brother thought it was the greatest!

Box office hits and fun in the sun

I finally got a not so great picture of the fox that has been in our neighborhood.

Yesterday was another fun filled day. We started out at the movies. On Wed and Thurs our movie theater does a free kids movie. yesterday was our 1st day going. They show movies that are already out on video, but man the kids loved it!! We saw Night at the Museum. I had never watched this movie, so it was new to me, and I loved it.
Here are some of the boys waiting for the girls to get out of the bathroom!! I thought this was funny, b/c Hunny is always waiting for me to get out of the bathroom!

Beth, my sister Joy and I had 13 kids that day. I was very thankful that Joy went with me to help keep all the kids in order!!

My sweet friend Beth!!

After the movie, we went to Esther's for our favorite summer activity! SWIMMING!!! We picked up some pizza's for lunch and then the kids jumped in. Here are just some random pictures of the kids swimming.

I think this picture of Austin is adorable. He sat there for the longest time pouring the water into the noodle just to watch it pour into the pool. #4 even sat down to help him.

I love the picture of Isaac! Isaac was such a big help that day also. Him and Logan got along really well. Isaac was Logan's buddy throughout the day and they both took their job very seriously!

My favorite picture of the day is of Beth swimming with what looked like 12 kids clinging in her!! She was so patient with them all to!

A trip to Menards and the pool

I am able to watch my friend Heather's kids this week. We have been so busy!!
1 of the most exciting things that have happened this week is that Victoria lost 1 of her teeth!! She was so super excited about this!! Me on the other hand I wasn't so excited about touching it. For some reason loose teeth gives me the hebe jebe's. (at school whenever kids have loose teeth I always tell them that Mrs. Ratze would love to see their teeth, and they run happily off to show their teacher!!) So Victoria and I were both lucky when the tooth fell right off in her hand! Thank you Jesus ;)

I love how Dada's hair looks braided, so I decided to braid both of the girls hair!! They loved it! And they both looked adorable.

Work continues at Tancy's. I am telling you they will have torn down and rebuilt the entire addition. They have had to tear down literally 2 whole walls, and most of a 3rd one. Chris and Steve have done an amazing job! Chris and Steve are also so patient. Here Steve is explaining to Esther how to do something.

Tancy is right in the thick of it! I don't think I have ever seen her work so hard! She has only stopped to sleep I think.

Tancy and JP needed a little bonding time! ;)

Tancy and I took the kids to Menards. We had to get some 30 sheets of OSB and 20 2 x 4's. We of course took the kids! I think they enjoyed the trip to the home improvement store.

They didn't however enjoy waiting in the lumber yard for the 2 x 4's. The employees at Menards are terrible. So we had to wait for a while. I eventually let the kids sit in the back of the pickup b/c it was so hot!! The funny part about our trip to Menards is that as soon as we pulled onto the highway Tancy had 10 sheets of OSB fall onto the highway. You should have seen Tancy and I trying to pick up all the OSB off the highway with cars flying by and honking at us. There was a very nice man who stopped and helped us. He did point out to us that maybe we should have tied it down or something before we left. We thanked him for his advice and them tied it down as soon as he pulled away.

After a little work, the kids and I headed over to the pool. I think I was just as excited as they were to get into the pool. I was also so thankful for Heather and Hayley who came and helped me keep watch over all the kids.

Victoria couldn't wait to get in the pool. We had her floaties blown up and she was jumping in in no time!

Logan on the other hand wasn't to sure about the pool. This was his idea of "getting his head wet!"

1, 2, 3.....JUMP!!!

Heather and 2 of her favorite kids. She was so great with taking the kids around in the pool.

#3 is just cheesin for the camera.

And I think my favorite picture of the day is this 1 of Dada. I think she just looks adorable!
