I am hurting

My heart is really broken and burdened right now. I have found some stuff out about some teenagers and I am so saddened. Please pray for me. And for them.

My life with 8 kids.

We decided to take the kids to a local Italian place for dinner Tues. night. They loved it!! They give the kids dough to play with while they are making the pizza. I love it, b/c is keeps the kids quiet and occupied while we are trying to wait to patiently for our divine pizza. And let me tell you it's divine pizza!

While playing with their dough.....Dada made jewelry. She also pretended to be our waitress and took our orders and then made our orders out of her dough.

Oh my, what a full and crazy day we had yesterday. It got even crazier then I expected to!!

Joanna called me yesterday morning and asked if I could watch her 3 kids. After a bit of convincing that I would be ok with 8 kids......yes I said 8, I agreed to watch them.

What better way to watch kids, then take them to the park?! We are lucky to have a neighborhood park right up the street from my house. I feel even luckier since I have a teeny tiny yard!!

Here are some picts from the park.

Yes, he ripped the shirt right after jumping from the swing! Sorry Beth.

This is my favorite picture of the day! I had to bribe them with a popsicle for them to all cooperate

And just so everyone knows.......I no longer have the baby itch. Oh, and I burned their lunch while trying to discipline MY kid.

I need your help

So last night I took Dada and Mikayla to the movie store. My kids are into scooby do these days and they got to pick out a movie to watch with their friends. Anyway, as I was checking out, the girls were playing with these rings. They were pretty cool, they lit up and the lights dance around the star. Well, I finished paying for the movies and we left.

Fast forward to this morning as I was putting clothes into the washer and out of Dada's pocket flies this.......
Yep, the ring from the movie store that my precious innocent daughter stole.

I asked her where she got it and she admitted shamefacedly (is that the right word?? ) where she got it and that she didn't pay for it. I told her that she had to take it back to the movie store and tell them that she stole the ring and that she was returning it. I told her that she needed to apologize for stealing it.

Now my ? to you is.....do I need to do anything else? And if so, what else needs to be done. Is having to return to ring and apologize punishment enough?? Please let me know your thoughts on this 1.

An answer to prayer

For the past couple months Brother has been asking a lot of questions about salvation. We have answered his questions and have told him that whenever he wants to, that he should come to 1 of us. So last night over dinner, Brother tells Hunny that he wants to get saved. Hunny takes Brother into his room and they talk about what salvation means and what happens when you get saved. And Hunny asked Brother if he wanted to do it. And he did. Brother prayed and asked Jesus to come into his heart and forgive him of his sin, and save him. He understood that Jesus died on the cross for his sins. He understood that he had to acknowledge that he was a sinner, he believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and he confessed his sin before God.

I was just so happy and relieved to know that he also is now a child of God.

On a lighter note, we had another great day.

We went to Tancy's house today for cake and ice cream for Noah's b-day.

Austin cheesing for the camera......he is so cute!

A day at the Childrens Farm

Today I had every intention of getting up early and getting my day started. I swore that I would get up at 7. Well at 8:20 I rolled over and was shocked at how deep I had slept. So I say there is always tomorrow right!?!?!?! :)

Anyway, I did get 3 loads of laundry done. And the floors swept and vacuumed. And some dishes done.

So I felt like I could go play.

Today was Noah's birthday. (He's the big 1) Jonah snuck into the picture. :) Noah is 9 today. But Tancy says he won't turn it till 5:36 wyoming time.

So for Noah's birthday, we (Beth, Tancy and myself) went to a local children's farm and park.

I have to apologize to Tancy....I failed to get a shot with her and her kids today. And I am sure she will hate this picture.

The kids had a great time playing. We took a picnic lunch. But they had already eaten, b/c I was late getting there. It was the line at Wal-Mart I swear!! After my kids ate, Beth had to leave.

So then Tancy and I took the kids over to the farm.

The girls on a statue of a pig

The boys seeing what kind of a horse they would be.

Me and Jonah. We were looking at the rabbits.

Brother and Chloe trying to scare the rabbits.

And here is my favorite picture of the day. If you look closely they are all there!

The smell is amazing!

My friend Brenda had a baby in January. She is a sweet little girl named Sydney. ( I hope I spelled her name right. ) Anyway, she makes me want to have a baby!! I have adopted her.

Here is Sydney's real mother Brenda. :)

And here is my pirate son. As many of you know, Brother has to wear glasses now. He has a lazy eye. And to strengthen is bad eye, we have to patch the good eye. Anyway, he had his patch on yesterday and he came into our room wearing the bandanna. Which made him look even more like a pirate. I thought he looked adorable!

My neighbor came over yesterday and gave me this vase. He said he thought it would look good with the lilacs. I was all to thrilled to put the vase to good use.
