aLiCe In WoNdErLaNd

This past weekend was Dada's play. She has worked hard to know her parts. I am so very proud of her.

Her family was behind her to support her on opening night.

Grandma and Grandpa H.

Grandma and Grandpa S.

Joy and Luke

Of course Brother.....who informed us how much he hates plays.

I hadn't been able to see the show the whole way through in practice, so I was excited to see how it would all come together.

I have to say that Alice in Wonderland is just a weird movie/play. I just don't get it. ;)

BUT

My little flower did a great job.

(Diabetes doesn't ever take a break. Even in the middle of a show it is always lurking behind the scenes.)

Dada greeting her audience......

What a crazy end to a crazy weekend. I am very thankful now for some free Saturday mornings. Now I will actually be able to sleep in.......maybe. :)

I have to say that 1 of the things I have enjoyed most is getting to know some of the other mom's. 1 thing I have learned is that we are all kinda in the same boat......Hanging on to sometimes strings on this ride we call life. Why oh why must we put on crazy acts to impress each other? No one has things right or perfect. We all feel guilty for every choice in life we make. Are we doing it right or wrong? should we send them here or there? should I do this or that? I think we should band together and hang on for dear life.
