Happy Easter

It's been tradition in my family for my whole life that on Easter morning you have to find your Easter baskets. So I have carried on the tradition with my family. Hunny absolutely hates this, but he humors me.
Their favorite puppy and blanket were forgotten in the excitement of finding their baskets.

Dada found her basket and couldn't wait to see what was in it.

Brother found his as well. Although he was a little disappointed that the Easter bunny didn't bring him a movie. (The last couple years we had gotten them a movie instead of a bunch of candy, b/c of Dada's diabetes.)

Brother was of course in no mood for pictures. After much threatening, he slowly changed his tune.

This is the best 1 that I got of him.

Dada of course was all for the pictures!! :)

Is that a smile I see??

Even Jeff wanted to get an Easter picture taken. Too bad he changed his clothes already!! I do have to say that I was disappointed that I didn't get a picture of Hunny and me.

We spent the day with Hunny's family. His parents had the whole family over for a big Easter dinner. I love spending time with his family. I have been looking forward to this since I found out about it. I honestly love getting together with his family. There are usually fun times, and good laughs. I especially love going out to the farm.
Next it was time for their baskets from Grandma and Grandpa S.

Brother also got a wiffle ball set. He was so excited to play!

I was really hoping that all the cousins could be there.

I really wanted to get a good picture of all of them. I think there are 3 missing here.

This is Collin, Dada, Tyler, Elisa, Brother, Ethan, and Elisha. Eli was happily eating cake and ice cream on the patio with his Mom and Blake and Anna where with Big Blake's family. Hopefully we will get together in May, and everyone will be able to be there. I know that Big Blake and Heidi were missed today!

Dada begged Grandpa to take the kids on a tractor ride. He eventually gave in.

And they were off. Grandpa also played baseball with them for quite a while. Brother was excited that his team won. He says that he had Elisha on his team. Elisha can be a little bit competitive. :)

HaPpY EaSteR to everyone. May you all take a minute to remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
