So yesterday I thought we were in the clear from all this crap with Dada that we have been dealing with! We sent her to bed with her sugar being 124 (perfect) and a small amount of ketones. I got up and checked her sugar at 3. And her sugar was 415!!! 415!!!!! Someone tell me how it can go from 124 to 415 in the middle of the night. Her pump was working all day, it can't just stop working in the middle of the night.

Thanks for answering my question- it's weird that you have to watch for high and low sugars. I never knew that. Hope she gets better soon- I know this can't be easy on mom (and her too). Did Jessica (your sister) have her diabetes as young as your daughter or was hers later on in life. Also- do they have the same kind (of diabetes)-obviously Jessica doesn't have 'juvenile' diabetes, but you know what I mean, right? Just thought it was interesting that your daughter and sister both have diabetes...hmmm...some kind of connection maybe (genes...)?
