The waterpark

Yesterday, we were blessed with 2 free tickets to a waterpark here in town. The kids have been begging to go for a very long time. So they were so excited to learn where we were going. Dada's cousin had spent the night on Wednesday night, so she was able to go with us also.

#2 and #3 on the nets

Elisa on the nets

Dada on the nets

#1 and brother on the nets

Brother running around

I Love this picture of #4. It was so cool watching him in the water. He wanted so badly to keep up with the big kids. And for the most part he did. This is 1 of my favorite pictures of him from that day.

Brother and #1 pumping some water

All the kids waiting to go play again after lunch.

#2 and Dada on the lazy river.

A funfilled weekend

Last Saturday we spent the day at Jared and Melissa's. The guys were helping Jared roof their house. Which is quite the chore if you ask me.

Thankfully for everyone involved Jared had Kevin come over and help. Kevin has his own construction business and knows what he is doing.

I was thrilled to spend some time with Melissa and Heather. I have come to really enjoy there friendships since they have been at church. It is also a joy to see Melissa grow in her role as Dylan's step mom. You can tell how much they love each other. Melissa is so patient and kind to Dylan. I love the way Dylan wouldn't let go of Melissa.

Dylan is such a card. He likes to walk around in everyones shoes.

Later that night we took the kids to Chili's again. We had such a nice time just as a little family.

I just want to thank Beth and Brad. They gave us a gift card for Chili's a while back. Although they didn't need to, they blessed us with the gift card for watching their kids.
The kids were hamming it up and making us laugh. They can be so fun!!

And LATER...........

While Tancy was gone SOMEONE tp'd her house!! Can you believe kids these days??

And finally......

We had a potluck at church on Sunday. ( I love potluck Sunday's!!) It was the 1st Sunday that the playground was finished.
The kids flocked to the playground. It was so fun to watch them having such a great time.

Remember playing spider??? The swings were full of girls playing spider!

It rained for a brief moment and the girls were inside playing dolls. I walked into the conference room and here they were.

I also want to thank Roger. I have been really hating my camera lately. It never would take great indoor pictures. He took the time to talk to me and answer any questions I had.
I think I sort of look demonic here. :)

Psalm 119:37-39

These verses really spoke to me this morning.

37: Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken thou me in thy way.
38: Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
39: Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgements are good.

Guess what I am doing today?!?!?!

After much begging and pleading with Brenda.......she finally agreed to let me babysit precious Sydney. I was very excited!! She is finally sleeping now, so I thought I would put up a quick post.

I think Brother loved having her here. His eyes lit up when he woke up and she was here.

She loved to bang on the little piano!

She finally fell asleep. She is such a sweet little baby. I have enjoyed having her EVERY moment.

And remember what I said a couple weeks ago about NOT wanting a baby?? Well........

Our first swimming adventure of the summer.

I had the joy of watching Tancy's kids for her today. Her and JP went to Wisconsin to meet with his business partners.
This morning I decided to take them a couple blocks away to a school playground. I took the wagon for #3 and #4. But #4 wanted to walk like the big kids, so I let him out of the wagon and he took off!! He couldn't wait to get to the park!!

They had a little climbing wall that the kids made a bee line to!! #1 was brave enough to go over it and come back down the other way!
#2 wasn't that brave, but she at least climbed up it!!

Brother and #3 decided they wanted to cross these round doohickey things. #3 was a 1st very hesitant, but she made it across!!

Dada was off by herself playing with the bars. She liked them b/c they have the same kind at her school. I think she likes to pretend that she is a gymnast on them.

#4 was climbing the ladder. He couldn't wait to get to the slides!!

After lunch............................

We went swimming at their grandma's house! Although I was VERY relieved that #4 went to sleep.

I am so proud of Brother. Last year he was VERY hesitant in the water. He only started getting in the pool without hunny or me in the pool at the very end of the summer last year. So I was curious to see what he would do this year. But he couldn't wait to get in! He popped on his life vest and climbed down the ladder all by himself. After about a 1/2 hour he even jumped in all by himself.

#1 of course shows no fear of the water. He jumped right in and was swimming laps around all the kids! But here he is trying to get Joy and I wet. I of course wanted no part of that! :)

#3 cracks me up! I love to hear her talk. She has the sweetest voice, and you never quite know what is going to come out of her mouth. Yesterday, I had been at their house for about an hour, and we were loading the kids into the van, and #3 looks at me like she had never seen me before, and she says to me.......Your hair wooks TERRRRRIBLE!!! (she was right to!!) I cracked up laughing!!

Dada also loves the water. She has always been a little fish in the water. (She is just like her daddy when it comes to the water.) She was the 2nd one in the water and the 2nd to the last 1 out!!

Here is #2 getting ready to dive into the pool! She was so excited to put these on and get into the water.

Introducing the Midwest's most beloved entertainer.......Mr.Steve!!!

Wednesday, we went to Imagination Station. We were looking forward to watching Mr. Steve who we heard was a great entertainer for kids. Well, let's just say that the kids had fun.
Here is Mr. Steve and some parents he pulled on stage to help him out with a song. I can't remember if it was his favorite song.......Mr. Steve......or if it was a different song. And yes, his favorite songs name IS Mr. Steve.
Like I said.....the kids had fun. Here are the girls getting into the song.
All the kids before the show.
Me and Jonah. I think he loves me just as much as I love him.
Mr. Steve and the kids. Beth thought he would charge me for having a picture taken with the kids. I have no idea who the kid is in the gray shirt on the left, he just wanted in the picture to.
Tancy and her kids. I told you I would get 1 of them. Even though she fought me about it the whole time!! :)
We of course had to get our ice cream fix. This time we went to Culver's. Yum Yum!! B/C this restaurant is a step up from McDonalds we threatened the kids with sitting by us moms if they didn't behave. Although I think that is more punishment for the mom's then the kids.
Well, they didn't behave. To be fair, Dada had just be able to go back over and sit at the kids table right before I snapped this picture.
